Your file never leaves your browser. yzukar — Screenshot Beautifier processes every image entirely on your device, on a local HTML canvas. It sends nothing anywhere and collects nothing.

What the extension does

• Lets you bring a screenshot or image via clipboard paste, file upload / drag & drop, or by capturing the currently visible browser tab (only when you click the capture button).
• Composes the image with a background, gradient, device frame, shadow, padding and rounded corners, and exports a PNG file that you download to your own device.

Data collection

• We collect nothing. No personal data, no usage analytics, no telemetry, no identifiers.
• No network requests. The extension makes no calls to any server. There is no backend.
• No third parties. No analytics, ads, trackers or external SDKs are included.
• Your images are held only in memory (and on the canvas) while the editor is open and are discarded when you close it. Exported PNGs are saved only where you choose to download them.

Permissions and why they are needed

• clipboardRead — to paste an image from your clipboard into the editor.
• downloads — to save the finished PNG to your device.
• activeTab — to capture the visible tab via the browser's built-in tabs.captureVisibleTab, only on your explicit action (granted after you click the extension icon). The extension does not read the content of web pages, does not inject scripts into pages, and has no broad host access.
• sidePanel — to open the editor in the browser side panel.

The extension requests no <all_urls> / host permissions and runs no content scripts.

AI

Backgrounds, gradients, device frames and icons are generated procedurally by code. No generative AI model is used to create them or to process your images.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same location and the “Last updated” date will change.
